The therapy room is on level 50, at a depth of 120 meters. The shuttle bus transports the visitors through a 1250 meter-long tunnel all the way down to the rooms dedicatedto speleo- and climatotherapy.

The rooms opened for visitors are equipped with artificial illumination and ventilation. Facilities such as playgrounds, ecumenical chapel, buffet, chairs and billiard tables make the daily mandatory 4-hour long stay more comfortable and enjoyable. These 4 hours involve physiotherapy, walks and gradually increasing physical effort led by specialists (non-stop medical supervision). The speleo- and climatotherapy actually consists of the underground stay and inhaling the salty air of the mine and it is excellent for treating respiratory diseases (asthma, bronchitis, allergies). Patients between age 2-60 are allowed to participate in the therapy.
